標(biāo)志圖形簡(jiǎn)單、明快、極具穩(wěn)定感與現(xiàn)代感，顯示了“越秀”和諧、開(kāi)放、國(guó)際化的辦學(xué)理念,給人以充滿(mǎn)活力、不斷發(fā)展和奮發(fā)向上之感。以代表廣闊、理智、穩(wěn)重、信任的永恒色——科研藍(lán)為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)色，象征學(xué)校嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、求實(shí)、進(jìn)步與服務(wù)，寓意“越秀”的辦學(xué)發(fā)展不斷推陳出新，朝氣蓬勃。
含義：
1.外圓內(nèi)方——圓融通達(dá)的處世之道與賢良方正的內(nèi)心堅(jiān)守有機(jī)融合。“外圓”，兼有“地球”意象，代表越秀的國(guó)際化與越秀師生的國(guó)際視野；“內(nèi)方”，是刻有校訓(xùn)的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)篆章，用中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化元素，代表越秀師生必具的中國(guó)情懷和校訓(xùn)傳達(dá)的越秀精神。
2.圖書(shū)館——彰顯弦歌不輟、堂皇典雅的學(xué)府氣象，代表對(duì)知識(shí)的熱愛(ài)和對(duì)真理的追求。
